1. Holistic Therapies Disclaimer (Reiki, Angelic Reiki, Crystal Healing, Aromatherapy)

Complementary Nature: All services provided by Debs Duke—including Reiki, Angelic Reiki, Crystal Healing, and Aromatherapy—are complementary, non-invasive energy and wellness practices. They are designed to support relaxation, energetic balance, and overall well-being.
Not Medical Advice or Replacement: Healers and holistic practitioners are not medically licensed practitioners, doctors, or psychiatrists. Services offered on this site do not constitute medical diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, or prescription.
Medical Consultation: Clients must never delay seeking professional medical advice, discontinue prescribed medication, or disregard medical recommendations based on information received during a holistic session.
Aromatherapy Safety: Before using any aromatherapy yourself please get advise from someone who is qualified. There are many contra-indications to using the oils. In pregnancy always get advice from a qualified Aromatherapist and Doctor.

2. Oracle Card Readings Disclaimer

Self-Reflection & Guidance: Oracle Card Readings are intended as a reflective tool for self-exploration, active listening, and personal insight.
Entertainment & Non-Liability: In accordance with legal guidelines, card readings are provided for guidance and entertainment purposes only. Debs Duke is not liable for any actions, choices, or life decisions made by the client following a reading (including but not limited to financial, legal, medical, or relationship decisions).

3. Client Consent & Permission to Heal

Adult Permission to Heal: Energetic healing requires explicit consent. By booking a session, adult clients confirm that they give informed consent to receive energy healing (in-person or distant).
Expectant Mothers: Pregnant clients are advised to inform their midwife or GP prior to receiving Reiki or holistic treatments. Expectant mothers must sign the Expectant Mother Acknowledgment Form confirming their choice to receive complementary care.
Minors (Under 16 Years): In accordance with UK law, healers cannot act as medical practitioners for minors. A parent or legal guardian must give written consent, remain present during sessions where required, and acknowledge their legal obligation to consult a registered medical doctor regarding any illness or health condition affecting the child.

4. Practitioner Code of Conduct & Client Care

Confidentiality: All personal details, health consultation notes, and session discussions are kept strictly confidential under UK data protection law (GDPR) and will never be shared without explicit consent.
Professional Boundaries: All sessions are strictly professional, therapeutic, and non-sexual. The practitioner reserves the right to decline or terminate a session immediately if client behaviour is deemed inappropriate, with the full session fee retained.
Scope of Practice: Debs Duke operates in accordance with professional ethical standards, prioritising client dignity, safety, and respect at all times.

5. Bookings, Payments & Cancellations

Payment: Full payment or deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment time.
24-Hour Cancellation Policy: We require at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice or missed appointments (no-shows) will be charged the full session fee.
Lateness: Arriving late will reduce the duration of your treatment time so that subsequent clients are not delayed. The full session fee remains payable.
